Cooperation with the town of Polička

The town of Polička cooperates with the Faculty of Architecture of the Brno University of Technology. They worked on researching individual districts and the city as a whole and designed several projects over several semesters. The year-long collaboration included a workshop, an exhibition and a discussion.
They worked on pre-agreed themes. The students asked different questions: what should development on the outskirts of the city look like and why do suburbs look the way they do? What is the alternative to the conventional satellite? Why does the typical Czech yearn for a family house? What can an architect offer to contemporary cities and society? Based on the joint thinking, several designs were created and exhibited in the atrium of the Polička Museum. Klarisa Kyselková's project, which won the award for the best bachelor thesis at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno.
