House Stara Cervená Voda

This property in Stará Červená Voda, situated in the Jeseníky Mountains, was transformed with a new wooden home and garden. The original granite barn walls were preserved. The house was designed for an elderly couple and their adult children, featuring a single-story layout with a wheelchair-accessible design. Construction followed low-energy standards with a mix of materials, including charred spruce wood, clay plaster, and triple-glazed windows. The collaborative self-built project cost around 1.5 million Czech crowns, sparing the parents from lifelong debt.
