March on

“March On”, Ukrainian Pavilion at Venice Biennale, Venice, 2023

In the project “March On”, Alex Bykov acts as co-author of the project. In this project
the creative team examines Ukraine as a powerful example of collective
responsibility for its future. Ukrainians are capable of consolidating and acting
together in crisis situations - in the fight for their independence, in defence of their
rights and freedoms, for their constitution, and today, in the tenth year of the
Russian-Ukrainian war, for the lives of their citizens, the territorial integrity of their
country and solidarity with the entire civilised world. The model, as an empirical way
of analysing architectural form, will be located in the Jaridini Gardens. It will represent
the background of the empirical experience of collective action and consolidation in
public space.
