    The Sokol and I exhibition, which took place in May 2018 at the Republika festival on the Brno Exhibition Grounds, showcased the results of a long-term artistic exploration of the Sokol gymnasiums of the First Republic era. These Sokol gymnasiums represent a unique architectural typology, as they served not only for sports but also for cultural events. They were a hybrid between a gymnasium and a cultural hall. The exhibition highlighted the architectural and cultural significance of these buildings.
